I think it won't go bigger... but thicker

Shaving at night will overall make the hair grow faster, but not necessarily bigger. Shave in the morning if you prefer to not shave that much, like myself.

I have shaved my entire body for swimming, and have not noticed that effect of my hair growing bigger

I'm a RN who has taught Nursing for over 20 years. The medical answer to your question is NO, YOUR HAIR WILL NOT GROW BIGGER. This incorrect belief has been circulating for as long as people have been growing hair. Whether the hair appears to look bigger has to do with the length of each hair as well as the number of hairs.
