um...3, i took a practice sat.
-in the first section it's about reading. it will have a sentence and give you 1 or 2 words blank, you have to fit the best words in to the sentence. then it has the reading passeges, you read a story or something then answere the questions. some had 2 passeges and the questions were like just comparing them to each other.
-in the second section, it's math. i thought it was easy because i like math and...i got to use a really nice caculator. there were a few that were hard. my teacher told me the questions starts out easy and gradually get hard.
-then you do the second part of section 1. same thing as before.
-then second part of the math. same thing. just more.
-then it does the fith section, writing. um...it will give you a sentence and a part of it will be highlighted, and it will give you 5 different ways to restate. you have to pick the right one. (does that make sence?) ex. (i'm getting this out of the practice book) Neither Frances nor her sister appears LIKE THEY ARE EXTOVERTS.
a) as it is now
b) to be extroverts
c) to be an extrovert
d) like extoverts
e) like an extovert
the answere is c. then the second part of it will give you a sentence and you have to recognize the errors of grammer or just words that don't need to be in the sentence.
-it's all multiple choice. you get 1 point if the question is right, and you loose a forth of a point if you get it wrong. so if you don't know the answere, don't guess! you are alowd to leave them blank. that would probably be the best thing to do. i didn't know that. i thought you had to answere them all. but you don't. oh, and the test is timed if you didn't know that already. you have like 25 min for each question. i hope this helped. sorry it's so long. good luck!!
