WHAT DO YOU THINK IT WOULD BE LIKE TO HAVE NO KNOWLEGDE WHATSOEVER OF YOUR PAST-- YOUR REAL FAMILY AND ITS TRADITIONS, POSSESSIONS, OR MEMORIES?

I think I would feel very shallow; many of my memories are not that wonderful, but they (the experiences)have made me WHO I am, and, I do love myself. I do not believe in random births, or accidents. I have only just begun to appreciate my many paths.
Peace. Good question.

Very strange. Perhaps a little like awakening in a hotel room in a strange city with out any identification in your wallet. I have cash but no credit card. The money however is not American currency. I dress and go to breakfast. The waiter does not speak English, but speaks in a language both foreign and unknown to me. I manage to order with signs and gestures. Reluctant to go out into the street, I stand in the hotel lobby watching people come and go. I have no idea who they are, nor who I am nor where I am. I don't know how I got here or where to go to be with people who can help me. How do I handle this strange situation ?
How would you ?

I think it would be horrible. In a sense it might be nice not to remember bad stuff but imagine not remembering your first kiss or your wedding or eating ice cream on a hot day! Also I am a firm believer in what does not kill us makes us stronger. So not remembering would be a bad thing.

It would be like being adrift at sea with no land in sight, nothing to tell you where you are or how far you've come. Sad, lost and lonely I think.

At one point in my life I would have welcomed this, but since it is not going to happen, I have learned to put the spin, on things. you know turn the negatives into positives.

Why are you yelling?
For me, it would suck, but that's what pictures and souvenirs are for. I keep both. Some day I'll get old and they'll fade, but I got pictures to look back on. That's why I try and look happy in 'em.
