Is the world black and white to you? Is there any magic?

Where do ideas come from? Where does fantasy come from and where does reality come from? Doesn't imagination begin everything we know?

world is black white and grey its just that 99% of people like to stay on the same side and argue that grey doesnt exist, magic is energy, the thing that isnt proven but powers all life....reality is what we are and ideas come from us and the brains evolution

I find as a writer that fantasy does in fact base itself in some manner upon what is inside the mind or upon what one thinks of the things going on in the world; however, those things come up with in the story are not my truth or reality, not alternate realities or wishes...though one could probably parallel themes with certain themes in reality.... It's just writing, a new fictional world to visit just for fun, relaxation, to let your mind wander free and away from the "fun" of the real world. The fantasy stories, that is.

I LOVE magic in stories. :) It's awesome...but as much as it would rock to have it be real, I'm glad it's not. Magic in stories helps when seeking justice, fulfilling dreams sooner...but it's much better to fulfill them in ordinary hard working ways in reality, don't you think? That is how we learn...that the world is not black and white, no matter how we might wish in ways in would be, and that we can succeed despite the lack of "magic," lol.

In response to your initial question. Everything is black and white, there are no Grey areas. Right and wrong no in between.

Define "magic." There's lots of anecdotal evidence of stuff that, based on what we know, should be impossible. The problem is that almost none of it is reproducible or verifiable.
