You could also consider looking into the differences between direct instruction and inquiry-based education.

The "style" that a teacher uses should not be static; it should change in response to the needs of the students and the curriculum. What works in a Math 12 classroom full of ESL students won't work in an elementary art class for children with Aspergers.
