considering he played thousands of shows, it was probably performing/touring. A close runner up was probably lsd

I am certain playing guitar (they say he played scales more than anyone...would show up for a gig hours early and just sit and play scales). Someone else said it - he loved hotdogs...specifically chili cheese dogs and chocolate shakes (I have that every year on his August 1 birthday). He loved the "Abbot & Costello Meet Frankenstein" (or was it Dracula? Frankenstein I think). He loved another movie called "The Saragasso Manuscript". He bought the movie rights for Kurt Vonnegut's "Venus on the Halfshell" but nothing ever came of it. He loved bluegrass music. He didn't love being perceived as a leader...he was just a guy in a band.

IS his favorite thing like a known fact? Im a dead fan and I can tell you with all honesty that it was probably the music itself, and the fans, and his band mates. Yeah...he liked a lot of heroin too.
He was missing a finger I know that. And he was an awesome song writer. And his voice...ohh that voice.....Fare the well
