The soul is eternal. So yes there is life after death. You soul leaves the body and goes on to the other side (heaven) to continue to grow and learn. Our souls are all trying to be more like the holy one (God). We can elect to come to earth many times to explore, learn and grown. While here we have many stumbling blocks, pain, sorrow but that is how we grow. If our souls came here and everything was perfect would out souls grow and lean things like patience, kindness, forgiveness, hope, wisdom, and more. No, we would all be miserable and it would not be the place it is.

If we do not grow in this lifetime enough we can chart a course to come back and be born again or just stay on the other side and learn there. When we arrive there all our animals greet us first then our human loved ones and friends. It is a joyous occassion and they are all happy you have crossed over.

While we are on this earth plane during sleep we can astral travel to see our loved ones, or go home for visits. Mostly we dont remember but we do get glipses in our dreams. Also our loved ones can come visit us here. You can feel them, they can sometimes move and object and they certainly watch over you. They want you to live a full life as intended so they can protect you from harm.

Unfortunately, there are dark souls out there too. Some you know about like Manson, Serial Killers, Tim Mcvey and more. But there is also dark souls that look like us but they commit crimes and do not love and do not have Gods light. We need to steer clear of them or they will try to take us off course.

There is no Hell. We all go to the Other Side. But what we make of this life tells us which level we return to. And of course the best level is the top with God. Prayer is good God want us to pray and it can help in situations. But God does not always answer our prayer if it is not part of the Big Plan.

Want to know more? Read books by Slyvia Browne like her book "The Other Side and Back". It can change your life.

Well my opinion is this, the body is only a shell. Our spirit is alive forever and always. Some believe in reincarnation so being born again into a body is a realization for some. I believe we never die, spirtually.
You will have some people argue this and that is fine. I believe in many things, I read alot of books, metaphysical and the mind and spirit lives on forever.

Many prophets like Edgar Cayce explains how the soul lives on. I find it interesting because so many religions believe in death as a final end. I love to hear different opinions and I respect everyones answers on their beliefs.

Yes, there is life after death. Get yourself a Bible and start reading one of the Gospels. There is God the Father, Jesus Christ, the Son and the Holy Spirit. God sent Jesus Christ to teach on the Earth and die on the Cross. Whoever believes in Him and prays to Him will have all of their sins removed. The Holy Spirit is with us every day and helps us to live as we should.

Certainly. I was a flower in my past life...twice, in fact...once a fluffy little pink flower, and again, the same flower, in white. It was rein-Carnation. But really, no one can answer that to your satisfaction...you're just fishing. Anyway, you will discover the answer yourself, when you either awaken into eternity, or not awaken at all...in which case you wouldn't know it. It's a win win situation. So don't worry...be happy. But if you enjoy in-depth philosophical discussions about life and death, read Ecclesiastics, in the old testament. Heavy dude, Solomon.

Death, I'm afraid, is the end. Do you really think anything survives the total deterioration of the brain?

I'm certainly counting on a joyous life after death. If you want, open this site and find out why it matters what you believe.

I don't think that reincarnation and Chrsitianity can walk side by side....they are in direct conflict.

definitely...

When you die you either go to heaven or hell depending on whether you Asked Jesus to come into your life and change it. Salvation from you sin is a gift from God, and that is what gives you never-ending life in heaven.
Choose not to believe what God has said and unfortunately your forever afterlife will be in hell.

there is no death, the body just wears away and the soul moves on to a new body, hence the sense of deja vu.
