could need more RAM....could need an actual dual monitor video card if you don't already have one.

I run dual 21" flat screens and had to up my sony to 1.5 gig RAM and get a new dual video card with 512k RAM.

If I have a lot open I will get slight glitches from the screens resetting.

You lack power Scottie......kick her into warp drive with 2gig RAM.

I'd dare to say that you need a different video card, one with more ram on it, Video -ram that is, your 1 gig on ram should be enough. I have only 512 ram and 256 vram, not shared, the card came with that.... and I was surprised that when I'm watching a movie, not even opening opening a disign program makes it stop not even for a second... on the other hand, my laptop with more memory in ram, can't even play a song straight if I'm opening a website with some flash contents... is on the video card... I think.

It certainly doesn't have to do with the software, nor of having 1 gig of RAM but very likely your video card; maybe you don't have enough ram, or the program you use to watch the movie is taking too much memory and when you want to use further more like starting a browser your system freezes. If you have adequate RAM in your video card, check in your BIOS if the settings are right ( in terms of memory usage).
