The Buccaneers put Brian Kelly on the IR yesterday. This is a big loss to our Defense that is already struggling. And to our team who has already lost our starting QB....and have been faced with big injuries all season, effecting many of our starters including our #1 draft pick. Will losing Kelly be "the straw that broke the camels back?"
We started to turn it around and won a couple big games, but I just think this isn't the season for the Bucs.....do you think there's a chance we could still end up 500?

Oh, I'm definitely not giving up on them! I'm a die hard Bucs fan, even when they sucked! And I've had faith every game this season that they can win. But at the same time I'm gonna be realistic and not expect too much after starting 0-4...and if we do good, then great!!!

Yes, you're right...Kelly has been out most of the season...i didn't necessarily mean the actual loss of him having a direct effect on us as much as i meant just so much happening this season that's went against the Bucs that it just pushed them over the edge...but anyways, I agree with everything you say....but I'll still be cheering for them in every game through the end of the season! Praying for a few more miracles!! haha : )

You've gotta just look at this as a throw-away season for the Bucs. They're planning for next year, they never would have traded McFarland if they had a shot at doing anything this year. The loss of Kelly hurts, but he's been out most of the season right? I thought he went out after the season opener, but I've been wrong before. Either way, it's not going to affect the season that much. The Bucs are playing as well as could be expected considering the circumstances, but they just aren't going to make it to the post-season this year. Beyond that, it doesn't really matter much what their record ends up as. But if you want my opinion, they have a tough schedule coming up, barring a miracle win or two, they will probably end up 6-10, maybe 7-9. To make .500, they would have to beat Washington, Dallas, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Cleveland, and then they would have to pull out a miracle against NY, New Orleans, Chicago, or Seattle, that's alot to ask.

By all means, keep hope alive! Anything can happen in the nfl. I would pay money to see the Bucs ruin the Bears perfect season.

I think they could get close, but I am only going on what I have read and the highlights of the games. In my area of the U.S., I do not get to see them play, but I love my sports channels and internet sporting news. I rarely get to see my team in action so I have to call a family member who is getting the game to let me know how they are playing.
This is the NFL and the season isn't close to being over. I see the Buc's have a tough schedule ahead of them, but injuries and bad luck plague those other teams as well. You know as well as I do... Anything can happen in this league!

Definately have a shot at .500 or. better. dont ever give up on Your team. I think everybody except, Me gave up on mine about 4 weeks ago and, look at us now. leading the division. You will always have a couple of young guys that will surprise You and, some of the guys that have been sitting the bench for a couple of seasons, are just waiting for a chance to show what they can do and, dont forget Ronde.
