I have found that a lot of shoes could be either male or female. Like the suede brown ones with lamb fleece. I have big feet too and I buy a lot of men's shoes because I have found they give more support and last longer. I wear them with jeans and slacks Good luck I know how it feels.

For sneakers, boots, and loafer-type shoes, buy men's. Check out the Land's End shoes, either at http://www.landsend.com or (smaller selection) at Sears. For that type of shoe their men's and women's styles are very similar, they're well-made, and they're reasonably priced. Or if you just want cheap and rugged go to the men's department at Target.
