MTV had a show called Unplugged were the bands played with no electric instruments at all. They released albums too. Does anyone know some of the bands that had an "Unplugged" album? The ones i remember are Rod Stewart, Neil Young and Nirvana but i know there was lots more.

Everyone remembers Eric Clapton, 10,000 Maniacs and Nirvana's performances. Bruce Springsteen bucked the trend and did the show plugged.
My wife has a CD compilation from MTV with Stevie Ray Vaughn, Eric Clapton, Lenny Kravitz, Soul Asylum, KD Lang, Paul Simon, Elton John, Neil Young, Rod Stewart, John Mellencamp, Paul McCartney, Elvis Costello, Don Henley, Annie Lennox, 10,000 Maniacs, and R.E.M
Arrensted Development did a great set back in 1993 or 1994. I think they even released a whole album.

There have been loads of various artists that have appeared "Unplugged" on MTV, probably with Nirvana being the most famous.
Those however who ..... Alanis Morisette, Corrs to name but a few ..... you could look on the links below or quite literally type into Google (or your preferred search engine .... "Unplugged Albums")

I suddenly miss the mid-90s.
My favorite was the Alice in Chains show--friends don't let friends get a haircut....but I think everyone that made music then had an unplugged album.
