I once thought of liberals that way because that was all the conservative radio shows talked about. When I got an xm radio I started tuning in on the liberal talk shows just to see what they had to say. And I found myself agreeing with some of the things I heard. Not all things mind you. The liberals on the radio hash out the same old hateful stuff towards the conservatives.
You sound like a nice person with your heart in the right place.
And there are alot of conservatives that I know who are caring and compassionate people. And if the liberals went away,I don't think chaos would break out. So much of of it is politics. Besides,for a number of years I had a girlfriend who was a liberal.
Every election we killed each others vote. Before I go I want to clarify one thing...I am not a republican. Best wishes

Who are these conservatives you have been talking to, I do not think liberals are a disease or insane or a plague, I just think they are wrong most of time. As a conservative I can tell you that I think about liberal very little, I have a life.

The basic difference comes from their names,liberalism is more attractive to Canadian than Conservatiism or orthodoxism.witch also means not open to new views .Because the liberals have been in power most of the times thus have aquired skills , contacts and controls on every ministery of the country that makes the conservatives very unlike to form a government. that is their desease .the only reason Conservatives are temporarly in power is because the liberals are sharpening their weapons and choosing a new leader. Sorry Harper ,it has been a short lived dream.I know we are a pain in your neck that is our desease.
