Tell your friend to pick her baby up and stop listening to those wanna be professionals. How can a mother stand hearing her child cry like that. It is unheard of and I think it really sucks.

You can let a baby cry for a while, but not constantly. And it depends on the baby's personality. My first two boys were totally different. My oldest was easily calmed down but the second one, if I couldn't get to him right away, would cry so hard he'd throw up on himself.
Attending to your child's needs is not spoiling her. She may be sick, or lonely, or wet, or hungry or her tummy could be full of gas. There are times when you HAVE to pick that baby up!! Use some common sense and don't listen to anyone. Your friend, that is. It's her baby and she should be using her own judgement.

I don't believe it is possible to spoil a baby. Letting a baby cry constantly is child neglect and the child CAN be removed from the home.

At four months old they need to be attended to. I have never believed that you can spoil a young baby. I always responded to my sons when they were infants and I am glad I did. The baby years fly by. My sons are definitely not spoiled children.

NO....babies cannot be spoiled....They cry when they need you. I mean it isn't going to hurt for a baby to cry some...but I never let my son cry for very long at all....and he isn't spoiled! He is well loved!

forget what persons say, and luxury your toddler. there's no thanks to ruin a new child....have they forgotten that they spent 9 months in a tiny warmth enviroment the position they cant not often flow, and straight away they are chilly, loose transferring...and not in any respect connected to mommy? i presumed that with my first 2 toddlers, subsequently I didnt carry them a lot. they are affectionate, yet not as a lot as i would like them to be....and they improve up soo quick! i quite desire i'd have not had that mind-set and quite bonded with them early on. Now that Ive had my third and intensely last toddler...Im doing issues completely different!! She became born on Nov. twenty first, and that i nonetheless carry her continuously, I co-sleep such as her....and he or she is in basic terms soo connected to me!! i do not see it as a nasty component in any respect. even as she needs something, she will be able to study that i'd be there. they are very helpless!! in basic terms comprehend you won't be able to ruin a toddler and experience them even as they are little!!

baby cries, something is wrong
even if all she wants is human contact
that is too early to spoil her
you don't always know what's wrong with the baby, they can't communicate...so how do you know.
Besides they will grow up before you know it
Hold them, Love them, Enjoy them.
