A friend had pushed me and I fell straight back and smacked my head on a concrete floor. I blacked out for 4 minutes. When I woke up my friends carried me into the house and I slept for 3 or 4 hours. When I woke up, I had a bump the size of a tennis ball on the back of my head. Is it possible that I had a concussion? I did not seek medical treatment because I had been drinking and was underage at the time. Is it possible that I could have any kind of permanent damage from this?

A few years ago? It sounds like you've recoverd since then.

But yes, if you got a concusion - there is serious permanent damage. You are twice as likely to get a stroke when your older if you get a sersious concusion. But even if you would have went to the doctor, there wasn't much help they could have given you. But if you feel fluid in your head and get head-aches a lot, then see a doctor soon.

Surely you would haved noticed if there was any lasting damage by now? Its not too late for an xray.
