My period is due on 10/29. Yesterday morning (10/25) some 12 days past ovulation I noticed some slight brownish spotting which quickly stopped (implantation bleeding?). By the end of the day I grew extremely irritable, got severe mood swings which continue until today, my breasts are really heavy too. However two very accurate pregnancy tests (different brands) I did this evening gave negative results. How likely it is that I can still be pregnant? How soon can I do another test? Has any of you experienced mood swings after implantation? I can literally feel my hormones going wild...

See a doctor and get checked out for an ectopic pregnancy. I had those same symptoms when I had one - and a pregnancy test may still read negative because hormone levels are very low with an ectopic pregnancy.

The things you are experienceing can be caused by your hormones from your normal cycle. I would wait until after you have missed your period to take another test.....if you cannot wait that long to know....you should wait and do a repeat test with your first morning urine. It will have a higher consentration of the hormone HCG if there is any in there. You need to wait the full 3 minutes before reading the test too. With my last two babies I had very faint positive responses with home pregnancy tests. They took the whole three minutes to show up.
The moodiness can be the anticipation of thinking you are pregnant and not really knowing. It is amazing what our minds can do to our bodies sometimes. Just relax.....I hope that this has helped.....good luck.

I don't get it. Your question in asking what is going on, but your caption is asking "Can I still be pregnant?" I would have to say that you are about to start your period. With the breast tenderness and the brown spotting, those are a sign of a period stating. I would wait till the 29th and then take a test, if you still don't have any discharge by then.

I don't know but id probably guess that the spotting you had was just your period coming on. some women spot before there period. You said you took 2 epts and they were neg. the horomones going wild thing is probably pms. im sure all girls who have pms will tell u that. the next time to take the test should be the 29th.

I think you should at least wait for your period. Just a couple more days, or just wait a week, then take another test.
