you cannot do anything buddy(as the magnetic strip is the hard disk of any card). You just have to apply for an new card. for which the bank may charge you

Haved you recently put this card on one of those box things in a supermarket where the cashier sometimes scan stuff so it doesnt go off? How about putting a magnet near the card?
If so, that may be the reason why. Maybe take it back to your bank?

I've had that happen and all I did was clean the mag strip with a little water and a tissue.
It takes on heck of a magnetic field to corrupt or erase the programming that is on it so it is more than likely that all your date is there.

If you need the cash now.
Go to one of those atms that you don't have to insert the card. Try it without a plastic bag. Then try it with a plastic grocery bag.
You may have to pay a atm surcharge from that bank and your bank.

This might sound weird, but that happened to me and a kid at my grocery store stuck it in one of those thin plastic grocery bags and ran it through and it worked...??? Really!
