Its good if its used to help people, and at least the "fetuses" they use (for lack of a better word), are not left to just go to waste

The only positive stem cell research is using adult stem cells. Embryonic stem cells have not been able to do anything. That is why proponents need taxpayer money. Investors know it is a loser.

Stem cell research is not illegal or banned. The Bush administration is funding stem cell research.

Embryonic stem cell research is a justification for abortion. That is why liberals are for it. It provides no cure for any diseases. M J Fox is being used as a Democrat tool.

I think its a great way to find out if we can help diabetes.I did not agree in the beginning because I thought it was an embryo, but its actually tissues that are formed before and embryo is formed .There is never a formation of a child or a heart beat its just cells .Cells that are going to be thrown away.My family member got juevinille diabetes and I wished it could have been me instead it broke my heart to see what he has to go threw no cake at a bday party no pop ,in and out of the hospital, 9 yrs old giviin his self a shot in the stomach ,if God can find a cure through the scientist ,then it would be wonderful,a miracle! It really hits hard when its your family,a child.

Go on the Christopher Reeve web site. They talk about and explain all the newest developments on stem cell research. I'm all for anything that will benefit and help the quality of life, BUT I do not agree on distroying another "life" to do this; which is what all the controversy is about. You shouldn't take a life to give life. And, Yes, I believe at the moment of conception, that is life, but that's a whole other different topic.

I am reading up on this subject after all the debate the other day and this was one site I came up with. There are many more sites out there, this seemed to list some different viewpoints. I'm sure just typing in the names of the different types of stem cell research will yield many more pages.

There's a lot more to read, as to what I feel I'm not quite sure at this moment.

I just don't agree with the harvesting of embryos. There are many other forms of stem cell research going on and different methods to get the same results.

OF COURSE ITS GOOD! I am tired of the christian church controlling our lives with their self-righteous crap. That is their sopposed role, to show us how to live. 2000 years later they are still failing miserably.
