Maybe he wants to keep himself warm and not cool down. Maybe wearing short sleeves may cool him down thus wearing a long sleeves to keep himself warm throughout the whole match. Or maybe he have some injuries and don wanna let other ppl see? This is a question that only beckham himself can answer. =D

i've noticed that almost all the older players on any team wear longsleeved shirts and tuck them in their shorts, which is wut he does, so maybe its like a soccer trend or something
