I don't think any employer would like to hire a new employee who would take a maternity leave in a few months. For the sake of the others, I think you should stay in you current job until the baby is born and then change job.

I'm not a benefits expert, but I believe if you change jobs and have a pre-existing condition such as pregnancy, you may not receive benefits with your new employer.

Please check this before you make your decision. Ask the employer who has offered you a new position. I know some pre-existing conditions are not covered, but I'm not sure about pregnancy.

Just get all the facts before you decide.

Well, it would be if you did it every time you were 5 months pregnant.
