2 days- but don't feed straigt from the jar or microwave it in the jar. Feeding from the jar puts baby slobber in the food and breaks down all the good stuff and makes it rot sooner. And microwaving it I'm not sure why not to but there was a seminar put on by Gerber at Babies R' Us that I attended and they said not to do that. LOL.

If you contaminate the jar with a spoon that's been in your baby's mouth, you should use all of the food at one sitting and throw the rest out (enzymes in the saliva will cause the baby food to spoil). If you spoon out what you will use, you can refrigerate the rest for up to 3 days.

3 days before you're supposed to toss them. Not so much because they're spoiled but because they begin to lose their nutritional value.
