Astral projection.. It is believes that there is another plane of existence out there. One where our soul, spirit,or conscience is located and that it can travel along this plane. The Astral Plane. Astral projection is what occurs, reportedly during and out of body experience. its where the soul goes during its travel. The ability to do such a thing can be voluntary by meditation or involuntary after a sudden traumatic experience.. the light at the end of the tunnel or life after death stuff. Well that's about all i know hope it helps.

If you believe in it, which I do. It is a phenoma in which your spirit can leave your body and travel to distance places while your physical body or "vehicle" remains in the same place. Sometimes I get this feeling when I'm going to sleep and I feel my self looking down at my body. Many people report this feeling and some claim that by deep meditation can allow astral projection or achieve it at will.

Well, it has nothing to do with astronomy or space. It's the idea that one can project one's spirit outside of one's body to other places.
