I'm afraid that this is just going to be one of the horrors he is going to leave behind after he leaves office .

This court already turned away one major challenge, the case of Doe v. Bolton, letting the lower court ruling stand. The 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals ruled in January that neither it nor a U.S. District Court had the authority to reverse the Supreme Court's decisions in Doe v. Bolton or Roe v. Wade.

Yeah, that S.illy O.ld B.oy has stacked the deck, and eventually Roe v. Wade will be overturned. Dubya at this moment not only stacked the Supreme Court deck, but also the Congressional deck as well. Now there is a majority in the Judicial, Legislative, and Executive branches of the Federal Government. Did I hear someone say AGENDA!?
If the legislative branch remains in the Republican majority, will he leave office in 2008? He may just change the books on that as well.

Even if Roe v. Wade is overturned, it doesn't mean abortion will be illegal. It simply means it will be left up to the states. Roe v. Wade made it a federal law that states must not make abortions illegal. Anyway, back to your question, he's stacked the court pretty far right so far. If Ginsburg, who's health is failing, dies in the next two years the supreme court could be right for the next 20 years or so

1) Why are you smearing Barbara Bush. She is a nice lady.
2) The court now has 4 Libs, 4 Cons & 1 moderate.
3) Roe v Wade was an egregious example of the court usurping the power of the legislative branch & the federal govt usurping the power of the states. It should be overturned on this basis.

So what if it is overturned? Do you know what happens next? It goes to the states and they get to decide. Like that would be the worst thing ever.......jeeez......

No it won't be overturned until all the childless pro abortion proponents die off. It is not in the Republican interest to prevent Liberals from killing their offspring.
