I think it's different for female and male. Dimensions of the head of the femur bone, curvature of the collar bone, shape of the pubic bone, and appearance in general. I got it from this website and it even shows you a real sample. I hope it helps.

They use carbon dating, a technique which is also used to determine the age of dinosaur bones and arrowheads.

by taking a little peice of their bone useing it as dna and then they can see how old the remains are.

they saw themin half and count the number of rings. that is equal to how many years they are.
