If i have a magnet, and i only want to make the force go in one direction, is that possible? If so, how can I do it?

no that is not possible, you can neutralize a magnet by dropping it, but you cannot force a magnet to have one pole. It is a Law that every magnet has two poles, a negative and positive

You could shield one pole with mu-metal, but that's not exactly the same.
