The reason I'm asking is because I was recently tol that my uterus is too small to carry a baby. I don't know if i was ever pregnant or not. I'm 31 and just started tsking the pill about 1 year ago because of really bad cramps, being irregular. Now because of what they are telling about my uterus being to small, it makes me think what if I was and never knew it. If continue the pill will it keep me from ever having a baby...........

I have a T shaped uterus. I was told that there is no room to carry a baby full term.

Very much so. To tell you the truth, that is why many people will tell you not to test until you have a missed period. Many people will test prior to their missed cycle. Then, they will loose the baby and loosing the baby is like a period. That is why some people will have a period and it could actually be a miscarriage. The diffrent may be that there is more clumps in the blood.

Its possible,
Many women can hae the egg fertilised and within a week of there period the baby has trouble attaching and is washed away with the period, It not really noticed as a miscarriage as many women didn't relise they were pregnant unless they were trying.

Its also possible to be pregnant and carry the baby unoticed that the baby is not growing, I personally had a miscarriage like this, I was ment to be 18 weeks as I had a ultrasound at 9 weeks to confirm my due date and then at my next ultrasound at the rountin 18 weeks, I found out the baby was only at the size of 13 weeks, I didn't have any symptoms of a miscarriage at all, I was rushed to the hospital to have a D&C to remove the baby, I was told that it could poision my body as it had been dead for over a month and my body not realising and rejecting it, I could have gotten sick if it wasn't removed asap.

I don't understand how your uterus is to small to have a baby, every womens uterus is small until in use, how can they tell this? Your uterus should grow as the baby grows and you wouldn't have a baby that your body couldn't handle to carry, IE: I am small in frame and my firt born was full term at 6lb 12oz, and my daughter was only 36 weeks at 6lb 5.5oz. If I had of gone full term with my daughter she would have been 8lb, there is no way I could have carried her and I believe thats why she was born at 36 weeks. I wish you all the best in having a child, I would get a second opion about the uterus been to small though I have never heard that before. Good luck

Yes. I had my period in may of 2005 and 4 days later i started my bleeding again. I thought it was a second period...I done this for 6 days and i was hurting in my back/belly. I was convinced i was having another period even though i never do that. Being pregnant was the last thing on my mind. I went to the er and they drew blood and yes i was 5 weeks pregnant but i had done miscarried when they checked it out by an ultrasound.

The very next day after this i wasn't hurting or bleeding. So if i hadn't of gone i would have never known i was pregnant....

I was 25 at the time and yes i had a child before this. He is 5 but i didn't even know i was pregnant when i miscarried

Yes is the answer. I was pregnant, I had just found out. THe same day I told my husband I woke up in the middle of the night in a pool of blood. I was freaking out because I knew I was pregnant. My home pregnancy test was positive and so was the one I took at the doctor. My midwife told me that many women have miscarriages and don't realize it. Their period may come a few weeks late and very heavy. And it is also very possible to have a miscarriage during your pregnancy and not know. My advice to you if you are pregnant and think you have miscarried is to be as calm as possible. Getting your stress up can speed up a threatning miscarriage. Be calm, keep your feet up, take your vitamins, and seek your doctor. Hope this helps, bye now

I was 3 months pregnant on 10/11/03 and miscarried and i knew it right away. I started bleeding really bad w/ clumps and had very sharp menstrual like cramps that lasted for at least two days until i passed my baby. But if you are in the earliest stages of pregnancy you might have not had that much pain to notice. I would advise you to go see a doctor if it feels like your body is acting differently. Good luck

Although now I have a precious son of almost 11 months, I was pregnant once before. After finding out I was pregnant, I went for the ultrasound, and found out it was a 5-51/2 week old fetus, although I was almost 9 weeks along. Since I never miscarried, I had what they call a "missed abortion". Later that week, I had to have a D&C to remove the nonliving fetus. What a trying time that was! Best of luck to you!

Yes. I watched a show on The Learning Channel the other day that people miscarry all the time, because the body rejects it as a foreign object, and women never know it because it is so early. Sad but true.

Yes it is possible. But it is only possible if you are only in your first few weeks of pregnancy. If you think that you had a miscarraige go to the doctor because i know what kinda of problems i am having now because i didn't go four years ago when i thought that i miscarried but wasn't sure.

You can have a misciarrage and it may act just like your normal period. This would be a very early miscarriage. Otherwise, from what friends tell me, it is can be painful contractions with bloody discharge. I'm sure you will know if it happens.

statistically 1 in 3 pregnancys end in miscarriage. Most women dont realize this because they may think there period is late and then they start to bleed ,which they think is there period when in fact its a miscarriage. They have no idea its happening. most women dont realize this unless there charting there bbt.
