an ocean is bigger and is always connected to another ocean. Seas can be inland (like the Caspian Sea). They are smaller and are usually attached to an ocean (like a bay or inlet) What about the difference between a river, stream, run, brook, etc. That's tougher. And Island versus Continent

How come you don't have Antarctica listed? It has shores on all oceans and is a continent as well.
