Yes, yes... and it's also impossible to prove that elves and unicorns don't exist.
The default philosophical stance is nonbelief. The burdon of proof rests upon the shoulder of those making the positive assertion and in failling to provide solid proof of their claim they leave us no choice but to be nonbelievers until such time that proof can be demonstrated.
