This question is too vague. Are you asking what chemicals cause exothermic reactions that create heat? If that is the question, the Iron Oxide powder and Aluminum powder mixed in the right proportions and having a source of ignition will release a LOT of heat. This is more commonly known as Thermite.

Any chemical can be hot or cold. Heat is not made of chemicals -- it's just a condition that the chemicals can be in.
