As far as I can remember it was on a Tuesday night,
was about the end of the World, and the survives roamed
around the UK , then took off in a Air Baloon one to find if
anyone else alive !!!!!!!!!! The lead Lady, I see on TV from
time to time, in adverts !!! pse help !!!

I can still see the opening sequence of the 747 landing and the infected passenger getting off, ready to spread the killer virus.
Having the car run on a bag of chicken manure was pure genius... :)

I loved that series, the population was wiped out by a virus, the opening scenes of a scientist on an aeroplane collapsing.
Don't know the leading lady.

The Survivors was created by Terry Nation of Dalek fame. My fave episode was when there was a rabies outbreak.. as if the poor devils didn't have enough to contend with. top telly.
