Rock vs. Rap?

Rock is real music played with instruments, unlike rap, which is just a bunch of noise thrown together using computers and synthesizers to sound cool (and it usually doesn't). I would much rather listen to someone that actually sings instead of someone that just talks to the rhythm of the background noise.

I like both,
but I dont like all the rock songs or all the rap songs i hear
there are songs that are really good and also that suck in both types
I like rock because i love the guitar
and I like rap because it has the bass and makes you want to bump it in your car
I know some people think rap it a bunch of music thrown together and just fast talking like someone commented above, but you have to have skills to know how to rap, not anyone can do it just like singing a rock song, not everyone has the voice for it

Music is music, and it's very subjective. I like music played with instruments, vocals, and good vibrations, nothing hateful, or spiteful, just good music.

Some rap fit's that genre, and so does some rock. How about reggae? Just feel good.

But if you make me pick, I listen mostly to rock vs. rap.

I actually listen (and like) both...but of course it also depends on the artiste, the song, n such...rap has to have meaning for me, but rock is just good 2 listen 2 anytime, even if its meaningless...but if I had to choose I'd say ROCK cos I like jamming to the drum beats n guitar riffs :p
