I ask what my options are for solving the problems. If there are no immediate solutions, I look for possibilities that will at least put me on a track to be in a better position to solve the problem later. I keep my options open.
If I cannot solve the problem, I have to decide if its worth raising a ruckus and sacrificing anything to draw attention to it by my defeat.
If the problem cannot be solved and nothing can be gained by fighting even to a noble defeat, then I have to force myself to walk away. I try to figure out ways of preventing the problem from happening again. Once I can prevent it, the problem is simply an educational experience.

Being stuck with problems is , either the solution is impractical or there is no visibility of the solution.
Either way, the 'disturbance' within is due to 'expectation' or 'desire' .. so, first check if this itself is the hindrance(anxiety impedes performance/application/solving ).
Yes, walking away for a while is a practical thing to do if detaching the expectation or desire is difficult.
Ultimately, a deep sense of acceptance would ensure that problems do not leave a residue to carry over .

I'd think of possible solutions at the moment for a specific problems only, in other words, we need to prioritize the problems first. We simply can't solve many problems at the same time. Relax ourselves, do a little meditation, review or verify our references, request for ideas (if possible) etc. and with enough time to reflect, we could solve it, one by one. If we can't do and make it (a particular problem), just leave it there, go to another problem instead.

I like to write scenarios where the main character is in a similar situation to mine, and after going through the ordeal, my ideal resolution for the problem happens.

try to figure them out, but sometimes the best way to do that is to walk away from it, take some time to let your brain and body relax from the problem and go back to it with a fresh start....that way you don't feel so overwhelmed and you can conquer the problem with ease

I think of possible solutions if you start dwelling on your problems they soon pile up on you.
