Why is discrimination so much worse between immigrant groups ?

I work and live in a very multi-cultural community. The worst cases of racism seems to occur between ethnic groups. Most white citizens never outwardly express any distaste for other races (it would be instantly frowned upon). But with "newcomers", it's totally different. They seem to have no reservations about expressing their hate for other races. Asian people hate east Indians, Muslims hate our Jewish brothers, etc ,etc........

Why is there so much hate????? You'd think they'd be happy to have successfully arrived in a new life.

because they have different color of skin.
if not nothing would happen .

Because they are fighting for jobs and respect on the bottom of the pecking order, so to speak.
