does anyone know why they cancelled charmed?
i love the show and all of a sudden all i see are reruns....

All the contracts were up last spring. It was originally suppose to end in 2005, but they had the year left of the contracts so they took advantage of it.
I loved the show too, but agree with the peeps that the show had run its course. The actresses wanted to pursue other projects.
I wish I could chain them all and force them to keep making new episodes, because I just loved the show, but I suppose the actresses should have a say. :)
The last episode was awesome and left you with a small satifactory grin of how they finished the final scenes.

I am not sure why they cancelled Charmed, I do agree though that it was a tragity, I looked forward to each new episode, every sunday. I am glad that they have the seasons 1-6 out on DVD so soon and hope that they will get the last two seasons out soon as well. I love watching the reruns without commericals

i love charmed even thought i am a teenager i liked to see it but the re runes come on so if i had missed an episodes i could watch it then but i have got my brother and sister watching it now i thinks it is cool to see the next episode and see who they are gonna fight or if they get new powers we should start a petition to keep it on t.v. and to make more episodes of it. if you do you have my vote .

When the new network The CW was formed they decided not to keep Charmed on.
