Ibuprofen can harm the stomach lining. Mix that with alcohol.. which can also harm the stomach.. and that's your problem. Take some Tums or Rolaids. Your stomach is probably producing excess acid.

Intriguing problem. It may not be so much the lungs and stomach, as the things in between (which sometimes FEELS like the stomach or other things). Our stomachs contain acid, and when we throw up, that acid is mixed with whatever we've ingested so it comes trotting up with the rest of the stuff. That's why we've heard all those stories about people with anorexia having really bad teeth... the acid erodes at the enamel. If it's strong enough to break down the enamel over time, that must be pretty indicitive of how bad it really is. I'm guessing the reason you feel pain is that you've had acid burn your passages. But, I can't tell you whether you have serious internal damage. Somehow I don't think just 10-ish vomits will completely break down the wall of your stomach or other parts... though I suppose it's possible.

If you're feeling pain, try Cayenne pepper. I use it all the time on fresh cuts (no scars afterward--warning: hurts like hell while it's on), burns (even bad ones I've had were completely gone after leaving it on for 10-20 minutes), and sore throats, among other things. Research has shown cayenne is a great tool for helping to heal stomach ulcers, as well (which, who knows, maybe you had one developing and that's why you're experiencing so much pain).

Perhaps try eating something (like a baked potato, seasoned pasta, or a meat) with plenty of cayenne on it, and see if it helps soothe your throat and stomach. I once had such a terrible sore throat in the night that I couldn't sleep... I drank cayenne-honey-vinegar-water, and it warmed me up a LOT, but within an hour my throat felt almost fine... by the next morning, I nearly forgot I'd had a problem (besides being tired) because it was gone.

If it hurts only when laughing hard, it could just be the muscles constricting. When you throw up, of course, you're using various muscles to help force that stuff backward (it's harder on you because it's not really meant to go in reverse, per se). Think of it like going to the gym: for a day or two afterward, or more if you REALLY worked yourself, you could experience tenderness, pain, constricted muscles, etc. This is especially true if you didn't properly stretch before and after workouts. Your stomach and other muscles are not accustomed to such a strenuous workout, nor are they used to working in reverse (think of it like working your bicep versus your tricep... the tricep is usually a lot weaker, or won't tolerate as much weight or as many reps). Therefore, this problem you're having may just be a matter of sore internal muscles that have not yet had a chance to recuperate--remember that when we work out, it actually tears our muscles just a little for every little bit we do... this is why it's recommended to give 2 days between workouts: to allow those muscles to regenerate/heal (at which point they heal stronger/bigger), so they're prepared for the next workout.

But, this is all just speculation--I'm not a doctor. If you consider these suggestions, and concentrate on what that pain felt like but feel like it's not related to muscular issues... Sure, it may very well be something serious, and only your doctor can assess and tell you for sure what it is and/or what to do.

Oh... and, um... I wouldn't recommend ever taking Ibuprofen after drinking alcohol again... plus, you seem to have had a lot of both... not a good combo.

http://www.drugs.com/ibuprofen.html

1.This medicine can increase your risk of life-threatening heart or circulation problems, including heart attack or stroke.

2. Seek emergency medical help if you have symptoms of heart or circulation problems, such as chest pain, weakness, shortness of breath, slurred speech, or problems with vision or balance.

3. This medicine can also increase your risk of serious effects on the stomach or intestines, including bleeding or perforation (forming of a hole). These conditions can be fatal and gastrointestinal effects can occur without warning at any time while you are taking ibuprofen. Older adults may have an even greater risk of these serious gastrointestinal side effects.

4. Avoid drinking alcohol while taking ibuprofen. If you drink more than 3 alcoholic beverages a day, ibuprofen may increase your risk of stomach bleeding.

Problems with the organs in the abdominal region i.e. the digestive system, liver, gall bladder, pancreas, appendix and kidney could be the main reasons for a bad stomach ache. Gastroenteritis can give you a severe stomach ache, while stomach pain from cancer may only be mild. I found a lot of great information on causes of stomach pain and its treatment at http://tinyurl.com/l9k9x

You should NEVER take medicine with alcohol cause it could lead to killing yourself, so I would take precautions on that for future reference. As to the pain you in your stomach, it could just be because you're laughing really hard ( a good number of people get that because they are laughing so hard that their abs start to ache) but if you are certain that it isn't an issue with the aching, then I strongly suggest that you tell a doctor immediately before it gets worse.

well you're kinda not supposed to take 800 millograms of ibuprofen at once and you're also not supposed to use alcohol. so your throwing up was your body trying to get rid of the extra medicine and the alcohol. you should see a doctor as soon as possible
