I am proud to be an AMERICAN because I can make my own desicions where women in other countries cant, I am proud because not only am I JUST a proud AMERICAN but I am the WIFE of a United States Marine. ANd for that I will be proud eternally. Americans take things for granted, thats why people say there is no reason to be proud. but those people are just lost. When something bad happens again they will see why we have every reason to be proud of our country.

I am proud to say between all the right and wrong, good and bad and sad and happy moments I have lived through we some how always come out on top . We are all hateful in our Own ways but deep inside we are all together A family no less . It is sad that only when bad thing happen it brings us together and not the good !! But I would say now more then ever we should be together when most of the world is against use and we are the most unappreciated people on the face of the earth ! even when we would help them in need We are still the evil ones . But what do we know we are Americans !!!!! AND DAM PROUD OF IT !! GOD BLESS !!!US

It is always good to be the most powerful nation on earth. I just wish the government would exercise its powers and wipe this boil on man kinds tush called Iraq off with a few nukes and Iran the same. Neuter North Korea and any other country that needs it and say there, those that are left standing, enjoy freedom or die too. The world would be a better place if certain parts of the world didn't exist. I know this some radical thinking but these are radical times. One US soldier is worth a truck load of these religious idiots.

Yup, have always been proud of this nation and always will be. Ive had the good fortune of going to over 20 different countries spanning the globe, I wouldn't trade my citizenship or birth right for anywhere else ive been, or anywhere else for that matter. Those places where nice to visit, but no thanks. We have a beutiful country, freedoms and laws that although aren't perfect, there the best ive seen. And anyone can live anyway they want here and be as successful as they want to be.

Because I have the right to answer your question honestly, without worry about government censorship, about having a death squad show up in the middle of the night because I didn't answer the way they wanted me to answer...& because I'm proud to be an american!

Because I live in a country that yes, has faults, but protects all people in its care. This country has a strong government and is based upon concepts that the modern man would take years to figure out. I am proud to live in this country, as battered as it may seem.

In the words of Michael Medved... we live in "the greatest nation on God's green Earth." We have riches beyond our wildest dreams. We are rich in culture, language, resources, diversity, speech, thought, religion, economy. We are the proudest, most medically and technologically advanced, most powerful, most influential, most generous nation in the world. We have the most freedom of any country on this planet. You have the most opportunity than any place on this Earth. Why do you think they call it the American Dream!

For those of you that are not proud to be an American - let me show you the door, you ungrateful losers!

I'm happy to be free and in a country with a high standard of living, but proud of this country I am not. Our international actions make me ashamed to be an american.
