Okay, if it'a obvious don't laugh, PLEASE. But I was standing and doing stretches on the floor and I felt like a flickering in my stomach, like, flipping or something. Is my uterus flipping?? I don't know anything about it! I must sound stupid to you girls.... I bet you're laughing at me right now. I am in my late twenties, as if that matters. I mean, it feels like my stomach has bugs crawling around in it! This is the first time it has happened and it startled me, it went on for about 45 seconds and then it stopped. Is something wrong?... nothing's going to come out, is it? Yeesh... I feel like a moron... my bf says the baby is moving. That's it, isn't it?... if it isnt, what else could be happening in there?? I've never been a mom before or been around anyone maternal to say the least. I don't really know anyone with little kids, so I don't know who to turn to, that's why I am on here asking you girls a billion and a half questions. Am I going to miscarry? I'm worried, for the bf too

relax gf.

It's most likely your precious little baby moving about..... unless you have a huge tapeworm who is hungry.

If you're not sure if baby is fine, as your partner to shine a light in there and put his mouth at the opening and yell 'AHOY in therrrrreeeeee!!!!!! Is everything okay?'

Then place his ear there and listen....or his eye to look.

I am so full of shi*. lol

But you gave me a laugh.

But on a serious note...Don't worry, you're fine.

I assume the baby is moving. I don't know how far along you are, but 1st time moms often feel the baby moving at 16-20 weeks. I hope you have a copy of the What to Expect When You're Expecting book. The Girlfriends Guide to Pregnancy is a great easy read and I recommend it.

I hope you don't miscarry. I'd worry more for you than your boyfriend if you did.

It's just the baby moving! I know, it feels so weird, doesn't it? The first time I felt it, I was at my mom's house. It felt like actual butterflies were in my stomach. I was actually grossed out. as the baby gets bigger it will feel different, and you'll get used to it. I remember feeling like there was an alien inside of me. My husband was disappointed that I wasn't more excited about it. A couple months later we were lying in bed, and my belly was up against his back. Our daughter kicked him pretty hard through my belly! he said, "Now what'd you do that for?" to me! I tried to explain that it was the baby, and he said, get this, "It was obviously your stomach muscles, not the baby." So confidently too! When I asked him when the last time was that *he* could do that with his stomach muscles, he said, "Oh." and went to sleep! Congrats!

It was most likely the baby moving. It doesn't mean that your going to miscarry. If it was the baby moving you had better get used to it cause it's going to happen alot. Wait until it quits "fluttering" and really starts kicking. That parts really fun! Good Luck on your pregnancy.

Yes, it's your baby moving. It starts out as little butterfly movements and by the time you get to your last month it feels like you child is doing karate in your stomach. It's a precious thing to feel your baby move for the first time. Congratulations!!

I am a mother of 2 and the feeling is just the healthy baby moving. I have also had a miscarrage once and that feeling is very different... It feels like really bad cramps. If you have bad cramping and or bleeding you should contact your doctor. Good luck with your pregnancy... It is going to be one of the best times of your life... You will never forget the feeling of your baby moving inside of you.

How far along are you? If you're not more than 3 months, the I would say it's gas or something. Otherwise, yes, it's probably the baby moving! It feels a little like butterflies. Congrats on your baby!
