I have all three so I want to know which is the best performer from a ratin of 1 to 10... 1 being the best/

The 1.4 Ghz P4 is better because the 1.7/2.0 Celerons are low performance CPU's.

The P4 is better for games, the 2.0/1.7 celerons are better for people on a budget.

I would say the P4 is the better of the three. I would take any P4 over a celeron. I would not purchase a celeron if it was almost free.

The P4 at 2GHz is the best choice for performace. The celeron would be much cheaper. You will need to check the manual for BIOS settings and that you have to correct socket.

I would take a lower speed P4 over a higher speed Celeron anyday. Celeron and its main competitor, the Athlon Duron or Sempron, is pure crap.

the P4 because it has htt the cmos settings should change with it if not look on intels web site and look at the cpu you have you should find them there

GigaHertZ are the amount of times the "switch" in the chip is flicked per second
