Here's my problem with the two island theory. When the Others saw the plane go down (and they were obviously surprised) Ethan and Other Other Guy (don't remember his name) were told to go run as fast as the can. Remember how they figured it out how right after the crash the one guy was running out of the firest with dry clothes? Anyhow -- how would that work if the Others were on a different island?
One other thing -- the Survivors have climber pretty high exploring (and playing golf) so why haven't they seen anything?
As far as this week and Sawyer being shown the other island, well clearly that could be a hoax to get him to comply. It could be as simple as a really big bay.

Now I'm lost too. I thought there was only one island because Ben/Henry told Sawyer there is no where to run so I assumed it was the same island and that the island just looped around or something. But according to everyone else I guess there are two islands?

Yes, I think there are two islands..but how could they never have seen that island from the original island before?? I am getting a little sick of this show as I don't even think the writers know what is going on...there have already been all these continuity mistakes. I may stop watching it altogether.

I said the same thing last night after the episode was done. I think they are right in front of everyone on the island. And is wrong with that Scottish guy who said it was his fault that they crashed on the island? He is so different since the incident.
By the way, I am in 9th grade too.

Maybe that guy was just making him think that it was the island that Jack was from when in fact it was just another island period. Like the trick with the rabbit.

Apparently there are two islands; Ben showed it to Sawyer because he recognizes that Sawyer really loves Kate, and he figures he'll keep her from trying to escape. It's all about manipulation.

Yes, there is a much smaller island that they were on when they were torturing Sawyer. They were looking at the beach of the plane crash across the water. Did you see the previews for next week - there is an ALIEN on the TV monitor?!
