To the person who said they are the exact same thing...
they're not. Unrequited love means the love is not returned from the one you love...that doesn't mean it will never happen. As for my answer...I think it would be worse to know it would never happen, than hope it does.

Something that can never be is worse. Unrequited love at least means your feelings were expressed. It is the other person's mistake. If it can never be, both parties suffer...
