I get what your saying but I doubt anyone is destined to be alone forever. If you are alone, it's because you chose to be and didn't take chances and try. Also if you just give up on Love, then you'll be alone, but if you keep trying, you'll eventually find that soul mate. So no one should give up on Love. We all deserve to have that someone, no matter what age we find that other person.

Did you create that? If so, you have great talent. (in my opinion).
I often wonder the same thing myself.
I would rather be alone than settle for being in a relationship with someone who isn't really "for me". I don't mean that the person is wrong or bad or anything like that. I just mean that all my relationships have been dead ends because the person wasn't right for me.
Soooo, I don't know about you, but I would rather be alone forever than constantly settling for less than I know is possible. It's not fair to the other person either. They can never live up to my expectations. It's simply not meant to be.
I truly hope that there is that one person out there for me & that we are both just preparing for the right set of circumstances/timing/etc?
I have had my heart shattered many times, soooo I am possibly a little more synical than I would like to be.
I dream of the time that my true love arrives.
Aarghh, uuuuh, yuck! tell me I didn't type those words! lol

You are never alone with God...but I understand. Alone can be so many things...I believe that nobody is ever truly alone, although their heart may ache for another. Sometimes it is just the way things are meant to be, and only God knows what is in store for the future. Soon enough, we shall all reunite in heaven, if not sooner.

That's great... It reminds me of myself because sometimes, I look at myself and at my life and wonder if I'll always be alone...
When I feel happy or am laughing, everything just seems to disappear... my problems... what I lack... other people... The future seems bright and I actually think, "Hey. Maybe I will be normal."
Then at other times when I'm feeling lonely (which is most of the time) my thoughts try to overwhelm me, but I don't let them because they're damning thoughts.
I'll just let life take its course and see what happens later on in life...

Shadow, you never cease to amaze me. To answer your question, yes, some are destined to be alone. I just may be one of them. Take my advice, young man, there is nothing quite so painful as unrequited love.
