I have a desk-top pc with paid anti-spyware and anti-virus. My first computer for nearly a year. My subscription has nearly run out. I've just bought a laptop, very expensive, with Norton Internet Security Centre 2007 free for 60 days already installed. How do i buy this soft ware and transfer the files to my desk-top pc? Does buying software like this enable you to use it on 2 computers? Help i'm really a novice at all this! I'm thick i don't know:)

you can transfer files several ways like over a network, external storage, or directly through a usb cable. Windows opetering system comes with features that will let you do this, search for it in help.

Hi, its pretty easy to do. Plug in a USB drive into the computer you want to copy files from and then when done plug it into the other computer and copy all the files onto it. Just select the files you want to copy. USB drives come with different size capacity, so when selecting one get a larger one if you are going to copy a lot of stuff. It saves having to repeat over and over to get everything you need onto the 2nd computer.

Most companys who license software only allow one per computer system however you might be able to contact them and ask if you can transfer your license to another machine.

You can easily update your subscription on the desktop via the internet and save yourself time and money.

The license is only for one computer unless it specifies how many licenses you have with the purchase.
