I would guess that the judge has a good cause not to like you. If not, file suit against his decision or get a better lawyer. There is a reason that you don't have custody.

That would depend on what he has against you.. Do whatever you need to , to counteract whatever it is he has against you.. Imagine if you were questioned by a list, how would you respond positively as an answer to the questions? Example: If someone had a history of physical abuse, the person would want to show that they have sought help in some way.. counseling, rehab, anger management classes.. BE ACTIVE and make good choices, whats best for the kids?

What does the judge have against you?
they have to prove you unfit..and don't think of it as winning custody..makes it sound like a game.If you take the parenting classes that are offered they will most likely do joint custody..children benifit from having both parents in active roles in their lives

My husband and I tried to get custody of his kids and it was impossible because of the judges. His ex was truly unfit, his kids were running away to our house, yet the court system would not do anything about it. If you really want your kids, you need to get a darn good attorney.

if the judge has any personal ties with you or your ex then you can request a new judge on the basis of not being able to get a fair hearing. but that is also what you need your lawyer for, to defend you from everything and to help you and your ex figure out what is best fro your kids!

The system is not based on logic, therefore even if you are the best parent for the kids at the moment, you are not guaranteed anything. If the case looks bad for you, then it is. It is a hard and painful fact to swallow, but you should prepare yourself emotionally for a decision against you.

First off, think why the judge has "everything against you" and see if there is any truth in what he/she thinks. If there is than work quickly to FIX these things. If they aren't true, prove it, get a good lawyer and pray! Good Luck!
