easy schedule, ladainian tomlinson, antonio gates, luis castillo, donnie edwards, quetin jammer and a qb who looks like a seasoned veteran with only six games under his belt (rivers) against losing 2 bad *** linebackers (foley ,phillips) and merriman to subsatnce abuse (unproven!) a folding place kicker and marty shottenhiemer as coach.what do you think?

Yes, Phillips' injury is not as bad as they first thought, he should only be out for 2 weeks, Merriman's appeal isn't until Nov. 7, so he will play the next 2 games, so they won't be without both linebackers for any games. Rivers, while he's no vet, is not making many rookie mistakes, and by playoff time could be talked about as one of the leagues best QB's (if he keeps playing the way he is now). The Chargers are still the most complete team in football, they will win the AFC West.

sure, they could. you're nicely perfect. The Saints and Vikes are not playing as a lot as their capacity. they are slacking, yet lots of the video games they have lost have uncovered particular weaknesses that are more effective obtrusive in route of crunch time. The Colts will absolutely be the Bolts in basic terms obstacle contained in the AFC. seem out for the Eagles, Cowboys, or Packers from the NFC. everyone of those communities can beat the Saints and Vikes on a given day. The winner of the Eagles/Cowboys recreation will go far into the playoffs contained in the NFC. Their D's are very reminiscent of SD's. they are puzzling nosed, quick, aggressive with good pass rushes. The Chargers are very a lot able to go all the way. Rivers has matured very much this season. that is obtrusive by technique of their cutting-edge 10-recreation triumphing streak! also, LT is decrease back and searching a lot more effective perfect. i'd provide SD a good chance with Indy contained in the AFC and that i imagine they could beat everyone contained in the NFC, inclusive of the Vikes, Saints, Eagles, %. or Cowboys.

6 weeks in and you proclaiming them playoff bound? Still along way to go and many things that can happen. Bad games, bad calls, injuries, and it seems like the Chargers have looked good early in other seasons only to fall off dramatically the second half, it's still MartyBall afterall.

although i disagree w/ rivers looking like a seasoned veteran, i still think they'll be in the playoffs. rivers plays smart but still has trouble w/ reads against tougher defenses. he improves each week though which is good for the bolts.

they will make the playoff as a wildcard coming 2nd in their division to Denver, but they won't be a contender to go to the Super Bowl....Sorry Chargers fans.....
