just ventured into buisness (cleaning) as a sole trader. and was wondering where's the best place to get a quote. and roughly how much it will cost thanks to all that reply

Talk to an insurance agent who handles commercial insurance.

Find a local broker close to you.
Someone who you can personally talk face to face to.
Dont go to a large "phone or internet" company.....far to complex and lack understanding.
Also, your local broker is much easier to use if a claim needs to be made.
Dealing with people over the phone or 'net is slow and tedious.

As you will probably be dealing with different chemicals I would imagine it could be quite expensive. Do shop around. Also you may have to list the chemicals, so choose wisely. Good luck

Mine costs me 1,700 pounds a year, but I'm in a dangerous job covered to 5 milllion pounds :)
