Because there liberal governments want to be over run by Muslims. Look at France. Liberal mentality and acceptance has caused France civil unrest for years and it is only getting worse.
European countries do not like US policies. Like death penalty to kill crazy people. They would rather try to rehabilitate a Jeff Dahlmer.
Europeans don't like the man on the top of the hill. The US military is the best fighting force on the planet. (Then why are there so many deaths someone cries.) They are not a police force the military should never be used as a police force. Even though if there country was in trouble who would they call? The USA even though they hate them.
It breaks down to for 2-3 thousand years Europe controlled the world. We took control of the world from them. They don't want it back. But they do want to complain about how we run it. Sad isn't it.

First thing, you mention the word Europeans, that's a whole continent. Is Tony Blair the head of Europe ? Secondly, if you call G.W.Bush a kind and compassionate person, then I'm really worried for you. Thirdly, It's not just Bush that people don't like, it's the whole administration behind him as well. The poor man has a low IQ, I don't hate him, I feel sorry for him. Does that answer your question ?

Not all Europeans hate him. The right-wing and the thick love him whether they are in Europe or the US.
If he wasn't the president of the richest and most war-hungry nation on Earth, he'd just be a comedy figure. But the idea that this goon, a man who can't string simple sentences together without unintentionally generating entire satirical sketches, has someone wangled his way into genuine, frightening power is enough to chill the blood.
If you like Tony Blair, you're welcome to him. The only reason he isn't as bad as Bush is that he's got more braincells than teeth.

What propaganda? I'd really like to see the propaganda that makes Europeans hate Bush. Because everything I've seen that makes Europeans hate Bush is the fact that he bullies them, he is arrogant, and they see him as someone who has caused a lot of conflict all over the world. While I'm not a Bush fan, I do believe that he has done a lot of things because he honestly thinks they are the right thing to do. However, he is so insulated he doesn't see the error in his logic. It's hard to see that you're wrong when everybody around you keeps telling you that you're right.
I think we can all agree, liberal, conservative, whatever... that the war in Iraq has been a bad thing for the global community. That's why they hate Bush. And who could blame them?

I think Hate is to Strong an emotion. Most of us think all it takes to be an American politician is a mountain of money Mr Bush at the time had more cash than anybody so he won. It would appear intellect and a understanding of the global picture are not required. Your own media portrays the man as semi moronic with right wing Evangelist views, so how do you expect us to think of him. Most people I know liked Clinton, Reagan, Carter I am glad you like Mr Blair as a PM. I do not neither does a large proportion of the population As you will see when we next have an general election

there are 100 people in a building that has two exits and one is locked with no key... there is a fire and 98 run for one exit, and 1 runs for the other, you are the 100th, which exit do you run for.... clearly the one which only one person goes for. the law of averages states that you are wrong.
putting this in context.... the whole world out side of america thinks the man is a maniac, and many think that he is the antichrist/beast or whatever that is going to make WW3 happen (it certainly looks like he is)... thats 3 billion people vs a few hundred million. based on the law of averages, honey, you are so running for the wrong door.
the reason why europeans hate him so much is because he will drag the rest of us down with him by association and there is nothing we can do to stop it from happening... lets face it, any call for compromise (the normal diplomatic route) is ignored and retaliated with lies, arrogance and a gun.... the staple of american politics.

the Brits are a proud nation very independent and the Bush Blair relationship is seen as the tail wagging the dog in as much as Blair wont do as HIS country want him to do (war in Iraq for example) because he is trying to keep Bush and the Americans Happy. Bush should never have gone into Iraq its another vietnam (fighing a war in a country and terrain you not understand) and we are losing a lot of good british service personnell (as are yourselves) just to keep a group of Politicians happy.
thats a british point of view

If by Europeans you mean France, it has been a tradition to hate the US and UK since the war, and if Bush is in charge of America then Bush gets all the stick.
That and the fact I saw news footage of him holding a book upsidedown. But then I dont hate him, I just find him amusing, though I'm British (not European)

Because he's an uncultured, hick. Europeans are also proven to be smarter than Americans. More culture, language, tradition. How can you be popular in a place that spawned Shakespeare, Voltaire, Michalangelo, Da Vinci, Freud, Sartre, Dickens....when you're a phillistine? As of recent, most of Europe (with the exception of England) has started to gravitate much closer to China. Both China and the EU are much more compatible partners than the US.

don't stop with Europians, I think you'd have a hard time convincing any country that Bush is "compassionate and kind" and the fact that Americans like Blair so much (as you state), with the UK kicking him out (along with his own party members) should be enough reason for you to understand why Europians and Southern Hemisphere people have problems with the US presidents and the US way. Oz feels the same way, our Prime Minister became Bush's poodle too and we want him OUT!
