what type of majors get u a BA degree? science/math or social sciences or financial major name some

Well a B.A. is a bachelor of arts degree. Arts courses include history, english, business administration, music, journalism, justice studies, fine arts, sociology, etc. I am a history major, and my minor is English. Bascially university is split into Bachelor of Art degrees, or Bachelor of Science degrees. Check out this wikipedia link for more info:

I majored in Finance and I have a Bachelors of Science, most business, engineering, and some types of medical degrees are B.S., B.A. degrees are everything else. If you get an undergraduate catalog from a college it lists the types of degrees for each major.

B.A. means Bachelor of Arts. There are literally hundreds of departments that you can major in to get a B.A. Anything from the arts to the social sciences.
