I think of it as your pesonality. Do you like the sports where your performance can screw people up in their performance based on the shots you are giving them such as slicing lobbing etc.? Or do you like the sports where your performance itself needs to shine better than your opponent's performance (basically who does better)?

Those are some tough choices. What sport do you think your better at? What sport do you think you have more passion for? It is a hard choice and I feel your pain. Wish you the best on the sport that you choose.

What sport do you like better? What sport are you better at? Which sport have your parents paid more money into? Which coach either tennis or swimming has you going further as a player. Ask yourself these questions.

Cross train between the two. Tennis is a good social sport to interact with others. Lots of sprints, hand eye coordination etc..
Swimming very good cardiovascular work out for the whole body.
I say do both. Good luck!

Tennis and swimming are both fun yet when you are swimming you know what you are going to to and how many laps you have to do. In tennis you don't know how long you are going to play for and how long a point will be. You also have the weather that you have to deal with. Now it is up to you.

do you like to socialize or exercise alone? Tennis allows you to socialize because it is a verbal sport and cannot be played alone. Swimming can be done alone and it is hard to talk when swimming unless you are taking breaks.

Tennis! It is a great sport because you can play indoors when it is raining, instead of swimming in the rain.

Make a list of the positive and negatives of each. If one has more positives and less negatives than the other stick with it. If they are even then I would choose which one you think you could bew more successful at. If this is too hard to do you could always put each on a slip of paper, put them in a hat, and draw one.

I find Tennis more "fun" however you can do swimming year round, but there are more places to do tennis than swimming. I think swimming requires slightly more commitment due to pool schedules and such though.
