uh, no. I have a family and their safety is my main focus, I would not endanger them by letting someone stay in my house when they brought this on them selves. I am assuming that they did or they would have gone to the police not a family member.

I would do my best but I don't think that I could provide the type of protection he/she was looking for and then I might be putting my own family in danger.
I would help the relative get the assistance from the authorities and then keep the information I had in confidence to prevent more problems.

it really depends on how crazy the bad people are and what they are capable of. if they want to hurt your friend, then i would choose the people they stay with very carefully. make sure that they will be as safe as possible, and that they have some type of protection, dagger, gun, etc. if there is not any family, check out some kind of shelter or protective service.

Depends on why the friend got in trouble with those dangerous people. If it is some illegal stuff--no. If it is some personal stuff(a fight over a girl/boy, or a dispute of sorts), yes

The only help i would give to this relative is this, i would go with her to the police to tell them about the problem. I would not put myself or other family menbers in danger.

If these chaps following your friend are dangerous, he needs to think of his Friends and family and disappear until he can get protection or something.

No. Because I'm willing to bet that your friend has a lifestyle that invites this kind of predicament. Hiding your friend potentially puts the family members in jeopardy, & that may include innocent children. I would say, your friend made his/her bed, now he/she can lie in it.

depends on how bad the people are and why she is running from them. are they trying to kill her? did she witness something and they are trying to shut her up? did she take something and they want it back? would it put my own life or anyone else in my household in danger? if so, then probably no.

i would only do this if i was sure that my own immediate family would be safe and if the 'friend' came clean about what they were running from and seek helped from local or state authorities..hiding someone out while jeopardizing yourself or your children or loved one's well being is not worth it..especially if they don't seek away out of trouble.you can't help those who won't help themselves
