Stephen King said it would, but I still need a good plan, but I only intend to use the phone for making and receiving calls. I don't care about games or music or new, fancy ringtones, or internet, or texting even. It will be used for roughly 50-50 local/long distance calls.

I know, it's barbaric...but I would like to start living in the 20th century...and maybe work my way up to 21st. Thanks.

Long distance on cell phones is riduculous. I ended up with a $1400 bill so be careful.

Alot of plans lock you in, be vary of that. I find they do that and every few months add a new charge to the bill like the newest on my phone '911 service' which powers your phone even if there is no balance on it, something that is not optional and I pay 6 bucks a month for now.

Cell phones are great for emergencies and staying in touch but shop around carefully for a plan that suits your specific needs. It takes time and patience but will safe you hassles and money in the future.

There is no medical evidence that supports the theory that mobiles are harmless to normal brain activity. This being said i would advise you to use a hands free kit if making long calls and I would defiantly recommend that all under 16's have a limited use of mobiles (well use where it is near their brain) texting and via a hands free kit is defiantly the way to go.

i think of individuals are substituting issues for the affection or interest that they are lacking of their lives. starts in early lifestyles, greater 2-discern families, some sense accountable that they are actually not at residing house with their youthful infants and could purchase them a latest (through fact they have the money to) to coach that they ignored them. infants discover ways to replace interest with textile products and that creates a yearning later in lifestyles. I observed a television prepare approximately this, and youthful infants have been asked no count if or no longer they needed some new toy or their mom and father to spend time with them for events and such, and that they quite much all chosen their mom and father time.

your best bet would be a pay-as-you-go plan, that way there are no suprises on the bill because there is no bill, it is all pre-paid
