That when you ask someone what kind of music they like, many will say..."I'm okay with just about anything but country." But the people who do, really don't listen to anything else? Are you that way?

thats such a great observation!... generally people will "like anything except for country". i have a broad span of music that i like, but when asked what i like... i usually respond the same way-- anything but country. i guess its just the first thing that comes to mind for what i dont like. its alot easier to pick out what you dont like/want compared to what you do.

Kind of. I hate country. The only good country I can tolerate is Sweet Home Alabama. I hate the sound of country, I hate the country accent. But somehow, I use my country accent more for my jokes than I use my New Orleans accent. New Orleans, born and bred! I can tell the funniest jokes, but I'm getting off track. In short, yes. Yes I am. And frankly my dear, I don't give a damn.

I do like everything including country and classical. Music is music to me. If I like it, I will listen to it.

I think people are really answering what they can tolerate...not what they like. I can tolerate just about anything BUT "easy" jazz and scary loud screaming music but and might even answer that. But I'd pick to listen to alternative classics.
I think people probably want to seem open minded when they answer those sorts of questions but end up not really answer what they like... just what they are will to listen to.

well i listen to whatever sounds good at the moment i turn on the radio. Although i won't buy most of the music i listen to i won;t rule it out for entertainment
